For more than 40 years, Banana Cabana has been a privately funded sanctuary, providing lifelong care to primates and other animals who come to us after retiring from wildlife parks, circuses, research facilities, or private ownership.

 

Here, there is no commercial exploitation, no expectations and no performances. Instead, we dedicate ourselves to the quiet, patient work of understanding each resident, respecting their individual history and honouring the life they have lived. Every animal is cared for as the unique being they are, with compassion, dignity and the freedom to simply exist.
