The Pogson Trig walk starts at the fire trail gate at the end of Quarry Road, Dural and arrives at Pogsons Trig. The vegetation along this walk is mostly sand stone heath and scrub woodland comprising of several species of Eucalypt tree. A number of native plant species will occupy your scenery and hopefully a glimpse of some native wildlife.
This walk begins at the Clarinda St. Wetlands in Hornsby and ends at the bottom of Galston Gorge. For walkers who prefer to only walk one way, we can arrange transport to drop you off and pick you up. This walk will show you an example of how the local council is treating storm water run off and creating habitat for native animals.
On this walk, you will spend a lot of time on the ridge enjoying the views across the Berowra creek valley. This walk encounters a few moist and cool gullies, which will be home to native flora and fauna. After the walk you can hop onto a ferry and go across the river to a café and treat yourself to a nice bite to eat. Once finished, we can arrange to pick you up from your location, and bring you back to the B & B.
Berowra waters has a number of pleasant activates from a fine dining restaurants, boat hire which can be either a BBQ boat, canopy ‘tinnie’ or a kayak, through to a truly stunning rock escarpment waterway. We can provide transport to and from the main marina.
